Individual counseling sessions blends cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy with integrative health modalities. A holistic and personalized treatment plan is created with an assessment of physical and emotional health, stress, lifestyle, spiritual wellbeing, and coping skills.
Integrative health modalities may include breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, Healing Touch, guided imagery, relaxation techniques, Emotional Freedom Technique ( tapping), and/or body-based movement therapies ( such as yoga for special needs or sensory awareness movement ). Focus is on developing stress resiliency tools, contemplative self-care practices, and lifestyle choices to overcome life’s challenges. An individualized treatment plan is developed through a caring partnership to address the clients needs and desires, to build safety, trust, and healing.
With a strong versatile psychiatric nursing foundation, I specialize in holistic treatment for stress-related illnesses, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as chronic medical conditions, such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, pain, MS, and sleep difficulties.
